Chris Metze's third solo show with the Simon Gallery in Morristown, NJ opens on February 15, 2008. The show runs until March 15, 2008.

In 2007 Metze had two solo shows: at the g2 Gallery in Scottsdale, AZ, and at the Hidell Brooks Gallery in Charlotte, NC.

In 2006 Metze had his second solo show at the Simon Gallery in Morristown, NJ.

Through 2004 & 2005 Metze exibited in 2-person and group shows at: g2 Gallery in Scottsdale, AZ, Ballard Fetherston Gallery in Seattle, WA, RC Gallery in Portland, OR, and at the Allyn Gallup Contemporary Art in Sarasota, FL. Solo shows were held at the Simon Gallery in Morristown, NJ and at Kathryn Markel Fine Arts in New York City.

Chris Metze is a dual citizen of the United States and Canada. Born in 1973, he grew up in both Montreal, Quebec and Brooklyn, New York. He studied painting and sculpture at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver, British Columbia. Chris Metze lives and paints in Woodstock, NY.
